Arlington Collects 2008
The Arlington Museum of Art exists to champion creativity and provide access to art
for the cultural enrichment and economic development of our community.
Arlington Museum of Art See Exhibits for our 2008 exhibition schedule. Our Spring 2008 exhibition is "Arlington Collects" and runs from April 12th to June 29th. 

Upcoming Exhibits: Our summer exhibition is a tribute to Texas Artist of the Year David Keens and the museum will show "Piece by Piece" a QuiltMania II in the Fall.
The 2008 exhibition calendar includes a balance of exciting, engaging and challenging exhibitions that appeal to broad audiences.
The exhibitions schedule seeks to:
  • investigate art from all regions, cultures and heritages
  • survey Texas art (past and present)
  • encourage and provide a venue for emerging artists
  • explore private and corporate collections
  • encourage creative thought through a variety of community programs
  • promote art education through activities, discourse and instruction
  • collaborate with other arts and cultural organizations to support interdisciplinary expressions of art including music, film, literature and dance
