INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The AMA offers seasonal internships available to college students, graduates, and/or those with an extensive background in studio art or art history. Internships give teaching experience to those interested in pursuing a career in art education.
The Education Intern assists with the Art Around the Corner program for fifth
grade AISD students. The Intern leads students around the exhibition, then assists
the teaching artist with implementing an art activity for the children.
A Summer Art Camp Intern position is available during the summer as well. The Summer Art Camp Intern floats among the three art teachers, assisting with projects and teaching as needed.
