Art is for everyone: A Lecture on Public Art

Join us for a free lecture by Carlos Donjuan. Donjuan is a Senior Lecturer in the Art Department at UTA. He is also a co-founder of the Dallas Artist Collective ‘Sour Grapes’ which has created many public indoor and outdoor murals.

This talk will discuss public mural art and its process, backgrounds in graffiti and the social communication impulses that these forms of artworks use as public communicative outreach like so many of Keith Haring’s works.
